Teams from either end of the table meet at the Showgrounds on Tuesday night with 2nd from bottom Sligo hosting table toppers Bohemians with the kick off scheduled for 7.45pm

Neither side will be a stranger to the other as they have both met on four separate occasions already this year, with two draws and two Bohemians victories Paul Cook will be hoping his side can register a win over the Dubliners before the end of the season. Incidentally Bohs have failed to score at the Showgrounds having been held to two nil all draws at the Connacht ground.

Pat Fenlon has no fear of meeting Sligo despite the clubs record at their ground, "Every match against them is different," he said.

A win for Sligo would move them two points ahead of Drogheda who currently occupy the space about them and also possibly move them within striking distance of Galway depending on the result at Terryland. Three points for Bohs would once again see the reigning champions open up a seven point lead over their only challengers Shamrock Rovers.

Bohemians have been operating somewhat like a machine recently having churned out win after win. They are unbeaten in their last nine league games since tasting defeat against St Pats back on the 5 June. They are currently on a three game winning streak having registered a 4-2 win at home to Dundalk and also a 5-0 win while hosting Dundalk.
Sligo on the other hand have to go back to July for their last league win, which came at home to Pats by a 2-0 margin. They also recently let a 3-1 lead slip at home to Dundalk and were beaten 4-3 in a thrilling match. The Bit O’Red have only registered three home wins all season long coupled with only three draws at the Showgrounds.

Paul Cook has a full squad for the clash, something of a luxury for the Sligo manager as his side have been injury hit for the majority of the season.
Pat Fenlon on the other hand will be without the services of Mark Rossiter (shoulder), Owen Heary (hamstring), Brian Shelley (groin), Glen Crowe (leg) while Ken Oman is suspended for the clash.
