Former Crumlin United star Jake Mulraney joins MLS side Atlanta United
Former Ireland under-21 Jake Mulraney has today signed for Atlanta United from Scottish side Hearts for an undisclosed fee.
The deal will be finalised subject to international clearance on February 12th when the MLS transfer window reopens.
The former Crumlin United wide man has also had spells at QPR and Inverness CT and prior to that was a youth player at Nottingham Forest.
Atlanta United Vice President and Technical Director and ex Fulham defender Carlos Bocanegra said “We’re excited to add another quality attacking player to our club in Jake.
“He’s a direct player with a lot of pace who can play anywhere across the front three. As he’s in the middle of a season, Jake will be able to get up to full fitness quickly and immediately compete.”
This season he has made 22 appearances for the Jambos in all competitions, scoring 1 and assisting 5 but despite that the 23 year old has joined Glenn Whelan among others who were deemed surplus to requirement for manager Daniel Stendel.
