Irish under-21 international Simon Power joins King's Lynn on loan from Norwich
Republic of Ireland under-21 international midfield Simon Power has joined National League North side King’s Lynn Town on loan until the end of the season from Norwich City.
Having just signed a contract extension with Norwich, Power will hope to impress for the remainder of the season with The Linnets after appearing just 4 times in the first half of the season on loan with Scottish Premiership side Ross County.
"I'm really looking forward to this challenge. The news only came out a week ago that I'd be joining King's Lynn and obviously they are sitting at the top of the league.” the youngster told The Linnets media team
Power has yet to feature for his parent club Norwich after his transfer from UCD in 2018. He is a frequent player for the Kenny’s under-21 Republic of Ireland squad, also having been capped multiple times at U18s and U19s level for the Boys in Green.
Speaking after his signing Power said, "There's a big game coming up Saturday, which I'm hoping to be involved in, and I can't wait to get going.”
Power made his debut for the club this afternoon as King’s Lynn Town hosted second in the league York City - a game they won by a goal to nil.
