Finn Harps launches new Fan Club
Finn Harps have created a new Fan Club which aims to promote a simple message ‘Support Local and Shop Local.’
Finn Harps CPO John Campbell explains the reason for the formation of the Club: "Well basically in relation to the Fan Club, a lot of people in various parts of the County have been asking how they can support the young team that we have at the moment, so one practical way is to join the Official Finn Harps Fan Club that we are now launching. By joining the Fan Club, people are able to support the team in a financial way, but just as importantly the people will be showing these young players that that they are behind them. We have priced the membership very keenly at €10 for an individual and €20 for a family. We want the people of Donegal to get involved with this fine young team."
"Also our message in this present climate is to support our team and shop local because many of these small businesses support us financially, and in these tough times we are asking our fans to support these businesses who support us in return", continued Mr. Campbell.
Those who join the Club will see benefits which will include 10% off the price of season tickets and free text and free e-mails updating them on club activities. The club members will also vote for the club Player of the Year and members will also be in draw for International tickets and many other benefits.
People who join now will have the added benefit of being members of the Official Fan Club for remainder of 2009 season and all 2010 Season.
The Club was Launched and given the support of Lord Mayor Brendan Byrne in Ballybofey on Thursday.
