extratime.ie photographer Steve Alfred wins Best Photograph at FAI Communications Awards

We are all delighted here at extratime.ie to see that our colleague Steve Alfred picked up the best photograph award at Friday night's FAI Communications Awards.

He came out on top with his image taken from the Galway Cup. The judges were looking for an image with a theme associated with grassroots football that portrays the subject matter in a positive light.

He was shortlisted along with Michael P Ryan for the award (who also made the shortlist last year). The duo are both Senior Photographers with extratime.ie. More of Michael’s work can be seen on his website here.
