Shams sign Murphy
Shamrock Rovers have agreed terms with Alan Murphy and he will become a Rovers’ player once he satisfies a medical examination on Thursday.
The versatile 26-year-old can play in midfield or attack and previously played for Galway United and Derry City, and is a former underage international.
“Alan’s a player I’ve admired for some time,” says Hoops’ boss, Pat Scully. “His signing means we’ve more options and I’m delighted he’s joining Rovers.
“We’re just back from a very successful pre-season trip to Spain and his arrival is a further boost for the club ahead of the Premier Division campaign.”
