Mannus joins the Hoops
Shamrock Rovers have signed Northern Ireland and former Linfield goalkeeper Alan Mannus.
Mannus – a free agent after he recently decided to leave Windsor Park – enjoyed a hugely successful career at Linfield, where he won every available honour.
Say Hoops’ boss Michael O’Neill: “We’re delighted Alan’s joined Shamrock Rovers. He’s a very experienced player and his arrival further strengthens our squad.
“We’ve already got two excellent goalkeepers in Barry Murphy and Robert Duggan,” he adds. “Alan’s signing will make things even more competitive.”
Alan Mannus (born 19/05/82) is 27 and has made over 250 appearances for Linfield. He has also won four international caps with Northern Ireland.
