UCD and Waterford have three games each postponed due to U21 call ups
A number of upcoming SSE Airtricity League Premier Division matches will need to be rearranged.
Republic of Ireland Under-21 boss Stephen Kenny has called-up a number of domestic players to his squad for the 2019 Maurice Revello Toulon Tournament next month.
UCD goalkeeper Conor Kearns, defensive colleague Liam Scales and the Students’ flying winger Neil Farrugia are all Toulon bound. Zach Elbouzedi (Waterford) and Aaron Drinan, who is currently on loan at the RSC, will join the UCD trio in France. Darragh Leahy (Bohemians) and Jamie Lennon (St. Patrick’s Athletic) also make the trip during which Ireland will line-up against China, Mexico and Bahrain in the group stages.
As a consequence, the following Premier Division fixtures have been postponed.
31st May - Derry City v UCD AFC
31st May - Waterford v Shamrock Rovers
08th June - UCD AFC v Bohemians
09th June - Cork City v Waterford
14th June - Derry City v Waterford
14th June - Dundalk v UCD AFC
New dates for these matches will be released later.
