Dundalk launch new third kit in partnership with Temple Street Children's Hospital
Dundalk have partnered with Temple Street Children’s Hospital to raise funds with a new third kit for the 2019 season.
The Lilywhites will play selected cup games in the specially-designed purple number, which will feature the hospital’s name in place of sponsor Fyffes.
The choice of purple represents the hospital’s own colours, while the image of the children in the hospital’s logo has been inlaid in the shirt itself.
All proceeds from sales of the jerseys will be donated to Temple Street Children’s Hospital, while each cup goal scored by Dundalk will be met with a €100 donation from the club.
“We are delighted to support Temple Street Children’s Hospital, and I am proud that we have been able to collaborate on the initiative with Fyffes and CX Sports,” said chairman Mike Treacy.
“The collaborative effort from everyone involved shows the importance to us of working with local partners.
“I would like to personally place on record my thanks to Gerry Cunningham for his vision and continued support on this initiative and continued support for the club.
“I also thank CX Sports for designing and producing another excellent Dundalk FC kit.
“As well as this exciting project, we will be announcing further initiatives in the coming months as part of a wider community scheme which will see us give back to the people of Dundalk and beyond, who for many years have given this club their unwavering and loyal support.”
A limited number of pre-order shirts are available in the club’s online store here.
