FAI Cup Qualifying Round Draw
Twenty clubs went in the draw for the qualifying round of the FAI Cup this week.
16 of the sides were intermediate clubs and were joined by four junior clubs - Aisling Annacotty, Glengad United, Regional United and St. Michael’s.
The draw was conducted by FAI Vice President Noel Fitzroy and former Republic of Ireland international and FAI Cup winner with St. Patrick’s Athletic, Keith Fahey.
There is guaranteed to be at least one junior club progressing to the first round as St. Michael’s were drawn at home to Regional United.
Cobh Wanderers, Crumlin United, Letterkenny Rovers and Killester Donnycarney were all awarded a bye from the qualifying round into the first round of the FAI Cup.
All ties are to be played on the week ending Sunday 21 April.
