Sligo Rovers -v- St Patrick's Athletic
St Patrick's Athletic must put aside all thoughts of European glory to one side on Sunday as they return to league action with a tricky trip to the Showgrounds to face Sligo Rovers (19.45).
Jeff Kenna's men travel west on a major high after defeating Maltese side Valletta in Europa Cup qualifying in midweek. However, Kenna will no doubt have one eye on the next round with the Saints due to take on Russian outfit Krylia Sovetov Samara in the first leg at Richmond Park this coming Thursday.
Sligo will be going all out for the victory, however, as they currently languish joint bottom of the Premier Division with Bray Wanderers. Rovers have failed to win any of their previous six league games.
Paul Cook's options have been boosted by the return of Connor O'Grady and Danny Ventre from suspension. However, Gavin Peers, Stephen Parkhouse and Richie Ryan (hip) all miss out through injury.
Extratime.ie prediction St Pat's are sure to have one eye on Europe, giving Sligo a great chance to catch them on the hop. Sligo to nick all three points with a 1-0 win.
