Dungannon Swifts sign Michael Carvill on loan from champions Crusaders
Dungannon Swifts have completed the signing of forward Michael Carvill on loan from Crusaders until the end of the season.
Swifts currently sit tenth in the NIFL Premiership, with a clear gap over Newry City and Ards, and are unbeaten in the league since the new year, winning three and drawing one of their last four games.
The experienced Carvill now joins Kris Lindsay’s side, having previously played for Linfield for seven years, winning the double three times, before winning two Senior League titles with Crusaders since joining in 2015.
“I am delighted to get Michael on loan to the end of the season,” Lindsay told the club’s official website.
“When I became aware that a player of his quality and experience was potentially available, I jumped at the chance to sign him.
“He has bags of experience and undoubted ability, he will add massively in the forward areas. I’m excited to get working with him and seeing his quality shine through in a Dungannon shirt.”
Carvill added: “I am obviously looking for a new challenge. Dungannon Swifts is a great club, I know a lot about them.”
“Great facilities, great set up, new manager, fresh ideas and something to look forward to for me! I can’t wait to get involved.”
