Wexford Youths' FAI Cup hero Katrina Parrock signs back for 2019
Wexford Youths’ FAI Cup hero Katrina Parrock has signed back for the 2019 season, while Orlaith Conlon and Aisling Frawley have also committed themselves to the club.
Parrock scored the only goal of the game as Wexford edged out Peamount United at the Aviva Stadium in November to secure a first-ever domestic treble for the south-eastern club.
The winger, who joined Youths midway through the 2017 season, settled the tie just before half-time with a well-taken solo effort.
28-year-old Parrock, who won an Ireland under-19 cap a decade ago, returned to football following a successful camogie career that saw her win four All-Ireland titles with Wexford.
Also signing back are defender Conlon and winger Frawley, both of whom played in all three of Youths’ Champions League group stage games in 2018.
Conlon made her Youths debut during the 2013/14 season and has since gone on to win four Women's National League titles and two FAI Cups by the age of 21.
22-year-old Frawley joined Youths from Tramore ahead of the 2015/16 season and has lifted the league title three times and the FAI Cup twice.
