Bohs line up glamour friendly with 'top' EPL side

Not to be outdone by their rivals across the city, Bohemians are set to unveil details of a glamour friendly of their own in the coming days.
Just hours after Shamrock Rovers welcomed Real Madrid to Tallaght, the Irish Premier League champions have confirmed that they are putting the finishing touches to a deal which will see a major English Premier League side travel to Dalymount Park for a friendly next month.
The club declined to confirm the identity of the side, but did say that a deal is in place for one of England's biggest clubs to come to Dublin.
It is likely that the game will take place during the week after the first round of English Premier League games, which take place on the weekend beginning August 15.
The game is sure to see a bumper crowd turning up at Dalymount and should provide a much needed boost to the Bohemians coffers as they battle to meet the FAI's 65% Salary Cost Protocol.
