21:32.... Shels sub - Doyle on for Hynes - 72 mins. 21:10.... Those wee spells of goals flying in everywhere seem to always happen when I think about making a cup of tea...Bray already beginning to employ time-wasting tackles as Shane Barrett is ruled off side and Derek Foran moves the ball twice before being told by the ref to hurry up, then Barret is taken down by Dave Webster and the ref doesn't award either a free or card despite it being a clear foul and Webster being the last man back

Kevin Lisbie powers a 25 yard shot beyond a scrambling Devine. Time correction. Game started a little late.

20:42.... In Tolka, Sporting's McFaul is a centimetre wide with a clever right footed curler towards the back post - Delaney wouldn't have got near it

20:06....GOAL BRAY - Gary McCabe - 21 minutes
A wonder strike from Gary McCabe doubles Bray's lead. Once again Bray get a goal from nothing, some scrappy defending and Gary McCabe picks the ball up about 25 yards out and his somewhat speculative shot beats Paul Skinner and Bray find themselves with a 2-0 lead

20:02.... First corner of the Tolka game goes to Shelbourne.

20:00.... In Tolka Park , Colin O'Brien making his competitive Shels debut tonight. Game on there now.

19:58.... I'm told by Alan Dooley this is only Alan Murphy's second start of the season for Galway after a lengthy injury lay-off.

19:56....GOAL BRAY - Ian Ryan OG - 12 minutes
Bray take the lead with an Ian Ryan OG. A mix up in communication between the defender and Skinner and with lots of time Ryan heads past Skinner into an empty net in an attempt to pass back to the keeper

19:55.... To answer a question asked - Tommy Dunne is assistant in Cork

19:55.... PJ in United Park - Bray have little to show so far, it's been all Drogheda as the Seagulls have failed to get passed the halfway line and as i say that, corner for Bray!!!

19:54.... Grace again - And I can't give you a crowd figure but not even the enticement of free pizza has brought the masses through the gates.

19:26.... Paddy Kavanagh starts for Bray!! In Waterford, Roy Keane has emerged from the bowels of the ground and his appearance is greeted by screaming, scrambling and the whole ground rising to get a clear view. Bigger than Jesus in Waterford it seems...

NEWSFLASH: The Wexford kick off time is now 20:00. Some odd reason about declaring times at the start of the season.

19:24.... The Wexford and UCD teams are in. In Terryland the teams are also in and Peter Cherrie goes straight into goals, Kevin McKinley also makes his debut, as does Michael McGowan for Dundalk. In Drogheda, the teams are almost in. I am just adding the Shels and Sporting lineups, completing the teams for tonight!! Just before 7:30.

19:17.... At Tolka Park there seems to be more people than usual about and about. Hopefully that will mean a big crowd for the clash.

19:10.... As Pounding from Doves blasts out, I'm told Galway United have the new sponsors on their tee shirts, Papa Johns and there is a new pizza counter in the corner. As Galway is our regular Food reviewing ground, I'll expect full reports on the quality of pizza.
