Blues sign Walsh

Waterford United have confirmed the acquistion of midfielder Paul Walsh. The 23-year-old, from Grantstown in Waterford City, signs from Limerick and will be contracted until the end of the season.
Comfortable across the middle of the park, Walsh has missed the deadline to face Finn Harps at the RSC tonight. However, he will be available for the friendly against Roy Keane's Ipswich Town next Friday night.
Walsh is expected to commute from Limerick, where he is in the final year of a degree at UL and will surely give Stephen Henderson another attacking option.
