Georgescu signs for Shelbourne

Shelbourne Football Club have announced that the Romanian striker Andrei Georgescu has re-signed for the club. 'Franco' returned to Bray, at the end of last season, following his loan period at Tolka Park for the second half of last season. He has joined Shelbourne on amateur forms until the end of the season.
The signing is Shelbourne’s first of the summer transfer window. Georgescu will be a good replacement for Paddy Madden, who returned to Bohemians recently having spent the first half of the season terrorizing First Division defences for the Reds.
