Bray Wanderers driving progress
Bray Wanderers announce that Windsor Motors Bray has become sponsor to its Club Promotion Officer Programme.
The Club Promotion Officer Programme launched in 2007 has achieved fantastic success and support.
The idea behind the programme is to bring Bray Wanderers back into its local community and is aimed at children from all different backgrounds. Coaching sessions, acceptance of multinational integration, fun games and general educational subjects are all covered within the Club Promotion Officer Programme.
Speaking about the appointment of Windsor Motors Bray as Club Promotion Officer Sponsor, Anthony Rooney said "Its great to see a local company supporting us with our local community work. Last season was the first time we really rolled out community programmes, including "Show Racism the Red Card" and it was a real hit. This is something that clubs from all around the world have become involved in and has the full support from UEFA and the FAI. It has really helped with the embracing of new and diverse cultures as well as educating and broadening horizons at the same time.
This coming season we plan to really expand even further into our community and visit as many schools, sporting organisations and community groups as possible with a number of new projects and training camps. This expansion would not be possible with out the support from Windsor Motors Bray.
The partnership between Bray Wanderers and Windsor Motors Bray shows how strong the links are becoming with Bray Wanderers and the local business community, and demonstrates how all sides within the community can prosper from such ventures.
Commenting on the new Sponsorship arrangement Brian McConnell from Windsor Bray announced, "We are delighted to be sponsoring this programme. We pride ourselves on having an involvement in our local community and very much want to assist the locality of Bray. This programme is of great benefit to the area and is very much welcomed by ourselves. We hope our support will help the programme make a real difference."
