21:40: All over in Finn Park.

21:16: Kildare's Cup hopes end with a 2-1 loss at home to Athlone Town.

21:13: Galway Sub: O Shea off Cian McBrien on 63' Russell now captain for Galway now

21:05: The final two games are playing out now. In Kildare, 10 minutes remain as the home side fight to earn a draw, whilst in Donegal, Harps are 3-0 down and with 10 men. Very little hope of a come back now.

20:59: GOAL GALWAY All over for Harps it would seem. Jay O'Shea scores from a free after it deflects from the wall.

20:57: GOAL GALWAY Faherty scores again on 50 minutes after a through ball from Molloy

20:55: GOAL KILDARE Light at the end of the tunnel for Kildare? They pull one back on 68 minutes through O'Riordan, a looping header, from an Isaaka cross. Drogheda and Shams game ends in a draw. Waterford win comfortably.

20:52: An off the ball incident sees Connor Kenna rolling in pain and the captain is being replaced by William Woods.

20:50: Brian King almost gets the winner for Drogheda, but his shot drags just wide of the far post

20:48: GOAL WATERFORD Six goals in Waterford. Grincell makes it six. Cummins beat two on the wing and charged into the box. Knocked it past the keeper and on the way in Grincell touched it. 4 minutes added in Tallaght

20:45: RED CARD SHAMROCK ROVERS Connor Kenna man of the match in Tallaght as Rovers go down to 10 men. Pat Flynn off for a blatant elbow on Paul Shiels. a member of Rovers backroom is now sent off. 88 minutes gone.

20:42: GOAL WATERFORD Graham Cummins makes it five in Waterford after 83 minutes

20:40: Rovers are now piling on the pressure as Drogheda conce two free kicks resulting in a corner that looked destined for the top of the net as Robbie Clarke rises highest to clear the ball off the Drogheda line

20:36: GOAL ATHLONE Alas the Kildare Cup dream is faltering as they go down to another Athlone goal on 51 minutes from Cleary after a scramble in the box. Half time in Finn Park. Apparently the Grincell issue in Waterford was eventually sorted out. Drogheda denied a penalty as Jamie Duffy is hurled across the Rovers box

20:32: Sub for Rovers, Pat Flynn coming on for Darragh Maguire, the defender fell heavily and immediatly signalled to be subbed

20:28: GOAL WATERFORD Waterford get a fourth goal through a penalty from Graham Cummins after 69 minutes. Stephen Bradley is making way for Shane Robinson, Michael O'Neill is going with a more attacking side. In Donegal Harps coming back into the game after Derek O'Brien's departure

20:25: Breen is booked for Galway. Further detail on the Funston red from our man in Finn Park - "Seemed to be fouled at edge of area by John Russell. No free given by Tommy Connolly, but Funston mimicked a thrown punch, a fresh air, and got a straight red" - second red of the weekend for a attempted punch

20:23: I'm being told Drogheda have announced details of their new fan club "The Claret And Blue Club" check extratime.ie for a complete details later on tonight. Former Drog Shane Robinson looks to be about to make his introduction

20:19: RED CARD FINN HARPS Michael Funston is red carded from a foul on Russell after 34 minutes

20:17: Mulcahy hits the post from seven yards with an open goal in front of him. Strangely having been told Grincell was not on the team sheet, he appears to have replaced WJ Kiely.

20:15: GOAL DROGHEDA Conor Kenna equalises for Drogheda on 58 minutes. - a Robbie Clarke free from the edge of the centre circle in the Drogheda half high into the rovers box bounced over the rovers defence where Kenna hunkered down to head the ball low and past Robert Duggan

20:13: Half time in Kildare. Vinny Faherty missed a sitter 6 yards out , cross from Derek O'Brien 29mins

20:09: A long ball from Chambers bounces over the rovers defence to Brian King who lifts the ball into the box where Jamie Duffy attempts an overhead kick which just goes over

20:07: GOAL TRALEE AND SALTHILL Tralee and Salthill exchange scores. First Salthill equalise through Mikey Gilmore before Maurice O'Rahilly puts Tralee back into the lead.

20:04: GOAL GALWAY Galway 1 up Vinny Faherty, cross from Iarflaith Davoren and Faherty heads home to give Galway the lead.

19:58: In Finn Park, David McDaid goes close for the home side.

19:53: Official attendance in Waterford is 310.

19:50: So we have two games at half time and 3 playing. No shocks at all so far in the Cup. No shocks makes Cup not so much fun.

19:46: GOAL WATERFORD Joe Mulcahy puts Waterford 3-0 up just before the half time whistle. Another night, another non league side is getting thumped. Half time in Tallaght.

19:45: The final game of the night kicks off in Donegal as Finn Harps take on Galway.

19:43: Kiely again has a chance of a hattrick but snatches at it and well wide. In Tallaght, Great save from Skinner, who isn't bitten twice as Gary Twigg looked to lob the keeper but Skinner just judged the distance right this time and deflected the shot, Kenna is back on albeit it limping a little

19:42: In Waterford,Willie John Kiely fires over the bar. Very slow paced game there. Switching to Tallaght and PJ tells me "serious worry for Drogheda as Connor Kenna has gone down and looks in serious pain, subs immediately sent out to warm up, this would be a massive loss for Drogheda"

19:40: Paul Shiels booked, i think he has a sub clause in his contract that states, you must get booked every game as the firey midfielder rarely fails not to pick up a booking of some sorts

19:36: Yellow card for Long in Waterford. In Tallaght, some good football being played by both sides now as it is a more even contest with Drogheda's lack of firepower letting them down

19:35: Game back on in Tralee.

19:34: Drogheda are finally making a bit of forward progress as a long ball from Ian Ryan forces Robert Duggan to come racing off his line and about 20 yards out the keeper clears just as Jamie Duffy was about to take possession, then from the resultant clearance Rovers go through and with Skinner left for dead Conor Kenna saves the day as he blocks an Ian Bermingham shot

19:32: GOAL ATHLONE 2 minutes gone and Stephen Place scores for Athlone. A Header from a superb cross by Tyrell.

19:30: GOAL WATERFORD 28 miunutes and Willie John Kiely nets a second. Short back pass snapped up by Kiely.

19:28: A bit of rare indecision from the Rovers defence as a seemingly aimless ball into the box from Gavin Whelan is headed across his own goal by Corie Treacy and causes a small panic as Jamie Duffy was lurking

19:27: As we draw close to the start of the penultimate game, Kildare vs Athlone, I have to report to have found the nicest sausage known to man. Chili and Chive infused sausage. Devine.

19:23: Drogheda should have equalised, a long ball in by Chambers saw Robert Duggan come with no conviction as Ian Ryan headed the ball to Gavin Whelan whose looped shot was cleared off the line by Darragh Maguire, the Drogs first opportunity to the game

19:21: Drogheda are simply too obvious, kicks aimed down the left, trying to play Jamie Duffy through, they are like a womans magazine, easy to read and not that intelligent.

19:18: News from last night is Gavin Peers has bruised Sternum and Shaun Holmes has a swollen ankle. Peers is expected to make replay, Holmes is not

19:16: Athlone Town name a stronger than expected team. The Rovers side in Tallaght are playing well so fare against Drogheda.

19:13: It has been all rovers so far, Drogheda have failed to get any time on the ball

19:10: GOAL WATERFORD Kiely after 7 minutes puts Waterford ahead.

19:09: GOAL SHAMROCK ROVERS Paul skinner wayyyyy off his line is lobbed by Paul O'Connor, 7 mins

19:07: Gary Twigg almost put rovers ahead but ruled offside. Kildare have not been allowed play their 7 new signings due to 3 being cup tied and 4 being not registered 14 days before the game. The Kildare lineup is in. Athlone following.

18:59: The Waterford United lineup is in. The Shams and Drogs teams too. Carrigaline will be posted here shortly. The games are kicking off now. In Waterford, there was a bit of a whoops a daisy on behalf of Waterford United, as they forgot to include Grincell on the team sheet, and now it's too late, leaving them with three subs!!

18:52: The Shamrock Rovers and Drogheda lineups are going in now. They will be online presently

18:45: GOAL TRALEE 15 minutes gone in Tralee and the home side take the lead through Brian Fitzgerald!!

18:39: As the game in Tralee reaches the 10 minute mark, we have been asked to say hello to John Malone watching in from a net cafe in Thailand. Any other onlookers from off these shores watching in? Email me at extratimelive@gmail.com and tell me where you are!!

18:31: Game on in Tralee. The next games to kick off will be Shamrock Rovers v Drogheda and Waterford v Carrigaline. We will have the lineups from those games shortly. In Tallaght, we will have John Robert Dunne, in Waterford, Dean Hayes. Kildare County will be covered by Daire Walsh.

18:25: Under five minutes away from the start of our first game, the non league clash between Tralee and Salthill. The only non league clash of the round.
