We hope you enjoyed the updates tonight and as always your input is appreciated. From me Alan Smith, and the rest of the extratime.ie team, goodnight.

21.43: GOAL SHAMROCK ROVERS 88MINS Somebody other that Twigg has scored... it's Dessie Baker. The only two players to score at Tallaght.

21.43: GOAL SHAMROCK ROVERS 86MINS Gary Twigg scores AGAIN. Level with Jason Byrne now on 13 a piece.

21.40 Bohs are top on their own as it stands as it's now over at Dalymount Park.

21.37: GOAL BOHEMIANS 90mins Jason Byrne scores another penalty, his 13th goal of the season. Ahead of Twigg again.

21.34: GOAL BRAY 92mins Gary McCabe is taken down by Danny Ventre and the Seagulls star steps up to give his team a two goal advantage.

21.32 "The gap between fifth and ninth place is now just 3 points." -Alan Dooley

21.29: GOAL DROGHEDA 80mins Dav O'Connor scores for Drogs after Greg O'Halloran's mistake.

21.27: GOAL DUNDALK 66minw Daly levels it for the Lilywhites.

21.26: GOAL DERRY 77mins Gareth McGlynn is the scorer for Derry City at the Brandywell, his third of the campaign.

21.23: Owen Morrison hits the post for Sligo with ten minutes to go.

21.17: According to our man Emmet at United Park, it's all Cork at the moment and both Kuduzovic and Silagailis have just gone close. A winner is needed to stay level with Bohs.

21.15: GOAL BOHEMIANS 71minsKen Oman gives the champions a vital lead in the 71st minute at Dalymount. Keegan took the corner from the left and it was headed in by the big defender Oman.

21.13: GOAL CORK 62mins "The ever present Dan Murray is the hero as he taps in a parried header from Silagailis" -Emmet Maloney at United Park

21.11: 63 minutes gone in Dalymount and Carey is on for Deegan.

21.10: "There have been 8 0-0's so far this season. Surely not two in one night?" - Alan Dooley Cork on top at United Park now. They need something from this game to keep up with Bohs who are currently drawing 0-0 with Galway United.

21.03: At present there is just 5 points separating Galway in 5th place to Dundalk in 9th. Amazing.

.21.02: Martin Nicholas reporting from Dalymount - "52 minutes gone here in Dalymount Alan, and O'Brien's shot from the left at a tight angle was well saved at the near post following a good passing movement involving Cooke and Edwards"

21.00: Dan Connor does well to keep Cork in with a glimmer of hope making a succession of decent saves as Drogheda look for that all important second.

20.58: GOAL BRAY 55mins Gareth Coughlan gives the Seagulls the lead against Sligo with a chip over Richard Brush.

20.50: We're also underway at Dalymount, where Neale Fenn has replaced Joseph Ndo.

20.48: Second half is underway at United Park and at the Carlisle Grounds.

20.47 GOAL ROCKMOUNT 59MINS : Rockmount grab one back in Turner's Cross and it's another penalty. Ross Callaghan was fouled by John Kearney inside the box and he stepped up to convert.

20.45: Alan Dooley says that the only other Rovers player to score in the league at Tallaght is Dessie Baker. Twigg's goal was his 6th first goal.

20.43:Half time in Dalymount and Martin Nicholas reports: "Bohs are poor despite having more possession. Galway's best chance of the half was after three minutes from O'Brien but it was well saved. Bohs fans are getting frustrated towards the end of the half due to the lack of real chances.

20.39: GOAL SHAMROCK ROVERS 36mins It's Gary Twigg who has gone level with Jason Byrne on the goalscorers list with his 12th of the season.

20.35: Pat Sullivan and Greg O'Halloran have been booked for Cork and it's half-time at United Park. Bohs, meanwhile, are going in level at the break, will this give Cork a boost in the second half?

20.33: Sean O'Connor cut inside and shot straight at Bennion, who did well to hold in the 27th minute at Tallaght

Half-time at the Carlisle Grounds and Bray finished the half strongly with Jake Kelly also going close.

20.32:Dane Massey hit's the crossbar for Bray with a 25yard free kick.

20.31: Our man in Tallaght tells us that Dundalk's back line was very shakey in the first ten minutes, trying to play offside. They were lucky not to be caught a few times. Neither keeper needing to do much. O'Connor was almost in but his heavy touch got away from him, as Shaun Kelly fell asleep.

20.30: Galway have started brightly in Dalymount, but Bohs are coming into it more in the last 15 minutes. 31 minutes gone now and Ndo's cross from the right is chested onto Byrne into the path of Deegan but his shot is palmed away by Ryan. Move of the match so far.

20.28:According to our statistician, Alan Dooley, Sligo moved into 5th position for all of two minutes.

20.27: Our man in Tallaght, John Robert Dunne has been in touch, and alas it's pretty quiet at the Rovers game. The only thing of note is the game started four minutes late, and 13 minutes in, we await the first shot on goal.

20.25: GOAL BRAY 38mins Daire Doyle's long range effort takes a heavy defletction off of Danny Ventre and goes into the net. All level again.

20.08: Daire Doyle is booked for Bray.

20.05:Sligo have a good chance against Bray. Brian Cash's cross was met by the head of Steve Feeney, but Chris O'Connor saved easily.

20.03: That goal was Kenna's second of the season. Also, it was the second time that they've taken the lead this season, last time they held out against Bray with the single goal enough.
