Bray Wanderers -v- Cork City

League leaders Cork City travel to the Carlisle Grounds to face Bray Wanderers on Friday night in the Premier Division. Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
Derek Pender is the only injury concern for the Seagulls going into this game. The full-back still hasn't recovered from an ankle injury he picked up in this fixture earlier on in the season at Turner's Cross.
Bray boss Eddie Gormley felt hard done by in last week's 3-0 defeat away to Galway United, saying: "Two wonder goals turned the game in their favour, we now need to get back on track." On the Cork game, he added: "It's a big game. We need to compete and try to get the three points."
The Rebels can welcome back Danny Murphy who was suspended for last week's win over Derry City. Billy Dennehy, Shane Duggan and Neal Horgan are all set to return to training this week but it is not yet known if they will feature on Friday night. Stephen O'Donnell is suspended while Davin O'Neill and Robert Mezeckis will surely miss out.
Cork manager Paul Doolin reflected on last week’s 1-0 victory against the Candystripes, stating: “Last week was a tough game and it was a fantastic win for us. I think we played really well in the first half and played some very good football. Maybe on another day we could have scored another goal or too.” Looking ahead to the Bray game, he said: “Bray are a young side but they are a good side and have some good players. We have been very good on the road this season and we are confident in our own abilities.”
