Cobh Ramblers sign Ross Mann from Limerick
Cobh Ramblers have announced the signing of striker Ross Mann from Limerick.
The 21-year-old arrives having spent the past five years with his hometown club, having joined in 2012 from Kilcornan.
Ramblers have been eager to add attacking options to their squad since the departure of last season's top scorer Shane O'Connor to Waterford in the close season.
With a return of only one goal from five pre season games Ramblers will be happy to have added a player of Mann's calibre to their young, talented squad.
Mann made 44 appearances over three seasons with the senior team, including 12 starts, and scored one league goal, in a 2-2 draw with Drogheda United in June 2016.
The Limerick man made ten league appearances under Martin Russell in 2015 but Limerick suffered relegation via the play-offs at the end of that season.
The following year the Super Blues returned to the Premier Division by claiming the First Division title, as Mann made a further 17 appearances.
Mann is the eighth new signing for Ramblers since the defeat to Drogheda United in last season's play-off, and is the second from Limerick following defender Shane Lowth.
Ramblers start their 2017 campaign at home to Wexford on Saturday with a 3pm kick-off at St Colman's Park.
