21:50: We have most of the reports from tonight's games going online very soon. Be sure and log back in to check them out. Wexford have 1 minute to survive!!!

21:48: Four minutes added time. Browne almost got full contact on a header from a corner. Nervous times for Wexford.

21:45: 85 minutes, Dempsey on for O'Loughlin. Doyle on the break but Martin is equal to it. He has saved three one on one's in the last ten minutes!!! Frantic.

21:41: UCD and Waterford draw 0-0. It's Sporting Fingal's night so. We will be following Wexford now till the death!! 80 minutes gone.

21:41: So, Full time at Morton Stadium. It wasn't always pretty but Fingal end their drawing streak with a 2-0 win. Athlone will be ruing those two missed chances on the hour mark In Wexford, Traynor is off and Browne is on. Rossiter takes the field and Miller goes. It's our last game playing now.

21:40: DERRY SCORE .... an offside goal. Last action of the game. FT Cork 1 - 0 Derry.

21:38: Sinisa from Croatia - "Nice to see Galway easy win. That's my second bet today. I'm sorry for Shels fans as I like Shelbourne since they beat Hajduk Split 5 years ago in CL qualifiers"

Dave Murphy is a happy camper too - "gareth, have been glued to live updates all night. great service, keep up the goodwork. my accum. is up too thanks to Fingal and our croation lucky charm !" - Well done Dave.

21:36: Full time in Drogheda, Pats and Galway.

21:35: RED CARD! Cork sending off, Stephen O'Donnell. 4minutes added. Galway match is over. 3-0!!!

21:31: GOAL! SLIGO ROVERS equalise. Alan Keane could be the Sligo hero in the 87th minute.

21:28: Sinisa - "Well. Same as last time. I didn't need to wait long for both goals! Who am I? The God! I just want to say hello to my Croatian friend Adam who lives in Dublin now!" - Cork Attendance - 4036

21:28: Robbie Burns mailed in wanting to know how much cash is at stake on Sinisa's bet? Well, our Croatian friend can email us at extratimelive@gmail.com. Should have been a fourth to Galway as an unmarked Declan Edwards puts one over the bar with just the 'keeper to beat. In Cork, Colin Healy official man of the match

21:27: GOAL! The Goalathon continues, with Galway going 3-0 up. Jason Molloy in 84th minute. (details of missed sub - Bray sub Colm Tresson for Derek Foran 76mins, Galway sub Jason Molloy for Dave Cooke 77mins)

21:24: Well the expected goal fest happened. It's like clock work this league. Sinisa is now hated by Shels fans, Waterford fans and UCD fans alike.

21:21: GOAL! Sporting score AGAIN!!! - Ross Gaynor plays through Conan Byrne. Town rightback Robbie Hamm goes to sleep and Byrne was one-on-one to round the keeper. 73 minutes. Your welcome Sinisa

Double sub for Derry coming up. McLean and Higgins for..... Molloy and Farren. Silagailis is replace by Stephen O'Donnell... his home debut for the club, all 75mins. Derry's McCallion booked for awful challenge on Kuduzovic

21:17: GOAL! Youths score !! and very very weirdly, Sporting Fingal also score. Sinnott corner, flicked on by White, and Breen tapped in. 58 minutes. In Fingal, Alan Kirby jinxes past three Athlone challenges. He gets around the keeper and plays it across and Robbie Benson is the unfortunate man who puts through his own net under pressure from Robbie Doyle

21:16: Sinisa Kizlin has mailed in. Clearly after putting the house on Sporting - "What's happening in Fingal. What will I eat tomorow? C'mon, score that goals (again I need 2 goals) for Croatia fans!" - Last time Sinisa asked for goals, they duly obliged.

21:15: Alan Smith in Turners Cross- "Colin Healy and Joe Gamble have been outstanding for Cork"

21:14: It's gone very quiet everywhere. Generally this means a goal blitz is about to begin.......

21:10: Paul Moore in Fingal - "Athlone should be 1-0 up. Stephen Place rounds the keeper but John Frost is back defending to clear his shot via the bar. The ball breaks to Kevin Dunne but Whelan is on hand to clear the shot off the line with his head. Great defending from both men"

21:08: Galway sub Declan Edwards for Vinny Faherty and Bray sub John Flood for Paul Byrne 59mins. Galway sub Mark O'Toole for John Russell and Bray sub Dave O'Neill for John Mulroy 64mins

21:06: Pat Sullivan and Ciaran Martyn booked in Cork.

PATS GOAL DETAILS: What a goal, from all of 30 yards Alan Cawley has found the net with a remarkable effort. with his left foot no less. 60 minutes on the clock

21:05: GOAL! Alan Cawley puts Pat's 2-1 ahead against Sligo!!!

GALWAY GOAL DETAILS: Cian McBrien puts Galway two up with another long range effort. Vinny Faherty and John Russell did the lead up work, Russell sending the final pass to an unmarked McBrien who had a mile of space and time to slot it from 25 yards.

21:03: In Fingal, Noel McGee played a clever through ball that found Place. The striker outpaced Gannon but shot straight at Quigley as he was bearing in on goal.

21:02: GOAL! Goal Galway, 58th minute - Cian McBrien

20:57: RED CARD McChrystal second yellow for Derry, down to ten men now!!!

20:55: SLIGO GOAL DETAILS: A dangerous cross from Shaun Holmes was headed home by Gavin Peers. Peers seemed to want the ball more than any Pat's defender.

20:55: Mezeckis down again only 50 minutes into his return, it doesn't look good for the Latvian. He is now replaced by Tim Kiely.

Galway live dangerously after a Bray corner. Massey has a shot from the near post which Cian McBrien clears off the line, before Paul Byrne takes a second shot and Ryan makes a point blank save.

20:53: GOAL! SLIGO ROVERS score!!! Gavin Peers on 50 minutes!!!

20:52: Remember to tune into the site after the games for all the reports, and interviews from tonight's games. In Inchicore, the second half has started even more frenetic than the first as both sides are throwing men forward in the hope of goals.

20:50: Ok - so no goals as of yet in the First. Will it remain that way?

20:46: The Half time rest is about to end, as Wexford head off for their break. Plenty of pressure from Wexford, but the crosses have been poor. Mervue have only had one shot.

20:37: Doyle for Wexford cleared off the line by Ludden. Doyle looks the most likely on the pitch to score.

20:36: Dundalk's fifth sending off of the season, third in last three games. Half time in all but the 8pm kickoffs.

20:33: What a difference a goal makes. The Saint's players were cheered off at half-time leading one nil

In Cork, Joe Gamble booked for challenge on Barry Molloy in middle of the park 44mins. Halt time now.

Galway - Half time. In Fingal, the League of Ireland's most fashionable player Robbie Doyle is booked for a strikers challenge on David Tyrell.

20:32: RED CARD - GOAL Chris Turner, the hero is now the villian. Red carded for the second yellow. And Connor Kenna has have SCORED in the 46th minute. It's all happening in Drogheda.

20:30: In Wexford, 28 minutes gone and the game remains evens. Few half chances, and nearly through balls but both defences are up to the task. Still Sunny though.

PATS GOAL: more enterprising football from Pat's down their left featuring Stevens and Ryan saw the ball end up at the feet of Gareth O'Connor who's cross was too high for Quigley and behind Guy but managed to sneak in at the back post with Brush totally flat footed

CORK GOAL: O'Halloran effort was blocked and Murray was there, three yards out, to poke in the ball with a diving header. Deserved, great atmosphere too

20:29: All 1-0's in the Premier versus all 0-0's in the First. In Fingal, Athlone top scorer Noel McGee almost pulls something out of nothing. He unleashes a cracking 25 yard effort which Quigley turns around his post

20:28: GOAL! DAN MURRAY scores for Cork City in the 39th minute. Details to follow...

20:27: GOAL! Gareth O'Connor puts St Pats 1-0 up against Sligo in the 41st minute.

20:23: Well we have goals. Albeit only two. time to check in at Inchicore. Our man Eoin Manning is there - "more great play down the pat's left on 30 again involving Stevens saw Ryan Guy flick a Darragh Ryan cross into Quigley’s path but despite a good touch the striker hit his volley over the visitor’s crossbar and the vocal home support were left to rue another missed opportunity"

20:21: GOAL! Penalty scored Chris Turner on the 33rd minute for Dundalk!!!

20:18: Mark Farren looked like giving Derry the lead but Dan Connor made an excellent save on 28

20:15: Paul Moore - "So far here in Morton Stadium not much to write home about. Gareth Whelan with the best chance so far but he put his header over the bar. Comfortable for Brendan Place at the minute"

Conor Meagher in Wexford - "15 minutes in, and so far Malone headed wide from a Sinnott free. Doyle sent Fitz through but Martin held the shot. From the tame clearance by Breen, Goldbey almost made the most but keeper was equal to it "

20:12: Cork dominating, but it's goals that win games and they've yet to produce one despite the scintillating football they've produced thus far.

Bohs manager, Pat Fenlon is in the Drogheda crowd, taking notes. Drogs getting more into it now.

In reply to Mousk below, Sligo are playing 4-4-2 and the lineup formation is now fixed.

20:10: GOAL! Goal Galway! Jay O'Shea scores in the 23rd minute. Cracking goal from the United captain who curls it into top left corner of goal, taking the shot from outside the box on the right.

20:08: Well 25 minutes into the action, and we remain scoreless in all the games!! At the start of the week, Extratime.ie announced their Manager/Player of the Month awards. You can read all about it here. So do you agree with the winners? Email or comment below.

20:07: In the Pat's match, frantic start to the game, Quigley has already had three chances for the home side while Sligo has looked dangerous themselves on occasion using Brian Cash's width down their right hand side to good effect but it's Pat's on top

20:05: Faz just hit a lightning quick effort past the wrong side of the post as Cork are beginning to look dangerous.

In Galway, Two great crosses from Galway, the first by Dave Cooke goes straight across the face of goal, the second looped in from the opposite side by Michael McGrath and Chris O'Connor has to leap high to bat it over the cross bar. Huge opportunity missed by Galway as O'Shea in miles of space down the right wing, crosses in to Faherty who can't control it. At the other end, immediately after, Paddy Kavanagh crosses in to Gary McCabe who gets a shot away in heavy traffic, but it clips the cross bar.

In Drogheda, Dundalk are dominating, Mansaram is an ever present danger as Drogs struggle to create chances.

19:59: The games in Wexford and Donegal are about to get underway. Faz Kuduzovic has a shot from distance, and it flies narrowly over Doherty's bar.

19:58: Cork free in good position after Behan was fouled. Healy, deflected off wall and out for a corner

19:56: The cards are out, in Fingal anyhow, early booking for Fingal's Gareth Whelan for pulling down Stephen Place.

19:54: Over in Galway, we have the first shot of the night on target and Bray's Dane Massey hoofs it over from the left wing, but it's a simple save for Barry Ryan above his head.

19:50: In Turner's Cross, Sammy Morrow forced Dan Connor into making an excellent save in the first 60 seconds. Both teams playing 4-3-3. Paul Moore in Fingal is horrified. - "I know the weather is bad but must Robbie Doyle wear those white tights? Gloves are one thing but come on!" - An extratime.ie favourite gripe is Mr. Doyle's liking for leggings, when will the madness stop?

19:48: Our man Conor Meagher has reported in from Wexford, and it's nice and sunny there and the pitch is perfect. He expects a good open game. In Galway, Ian Foster has elected to start in a 4-4-2 formation this evening with John Russell going forward to join Vinny Faherty up front. Michael McGrath has replaced suspended Derek O'Brien on the wing.

William Hegarty has mailed in and he expects a "titanic struggle" in Cork, but is hopeful that Derry can come away from the "cauldron" with a point. Well William, it seems to be the result of choice with the Extratime faithful.

19:46: In Pats, Mark Quigley is captain for the night. There is a big big crowd in Cork. The games kicking off at 7:45 are now all underway....

19:44: As the teams emerge around the grounds, Robbie Burns has dropped us an email at extratimelive@gmail.com with his prediction on the Cork v Derry game. He is of the opinion the game will be tight and will end in a 1-1 draw. What do you think? Email us!

19:38: I suspect a number of people going to games in Dublin and the surrounds may find themselves delayed. Traffic this evening is a nightmare. Personally I took two hours coming from Dublin City centre to Drogheda this evening. We are just over five minutes away from kick off in 6 of tonight's games. So, give us your predictions, and where will the first goal come from?

19:34: The teams are now in for the Sporting Fingal game, Drogheda game, Galway game, Cork game, and we are currently adding the St. Pats game now. We are awaiting lineups from UCD and Wexford.

19:24: Robert Mezeckis returns from injury for Cork, while Stephen O'Donnell takes his place on the bench after being injured on the opening weekend of the campaign

19:22: The Cork City and Derry City line-ups are now in and we are currently getting the Galway game line-ups updated too.

19:01: In Cork, after a dark day, the clouds have vanished and it's appearing like a fine evening in Turner's Cross. In Galway, a similiar story with a bad day clearing into a fine evening. Sunshine in both locations. Tonight Grace Uhr and Alan Smith will be bringing us all the action from Terryland and the Cross respectively.

18:40: Hello and welcome to this evening's live updates. We will be here bringing you all the action from the eight games tonight. It's a murky evening around the country with little hope of any let up in the drizzle.

Join Gareth Penrose from 7pm, with all the latest on tonight's fixtures. There are eight games in total down for decision, with four in each division. Most of the attention turns to Turner's Cross for the tie between Cork City and Derry City, where one of the sides will be on top of the table for 24 hours at least. In the first division, UCD play Waterford United at Belfield, where the victor will finish the night on top of the table.

As always, you can get in contact with us by registiring with us and leaving a comment on the bottom of the page, or else by emailing the team at the usual address: extratimelive@gmail.com
