He made his debut for the first team in 2011 in a 4-0 win against Galway in August and would make six further appearances for the County Wicklow side that season, scoring his first in a 6-0 victory against Galway on the 11th of October.

He would go on to establish himself as one of the most exciting prospects in the league and would make 61 further appearances for Bray, scoring 12 goals, before signing for Trevor Croly’s Shamrock Rovers for the 2014 season.

He netted his first goal for the Hoops in a 3-1 win over Rivals Bohemians at Dalymount Park, helping his side to a fourth placed finish that year. The following season he made 21 league appearances, chipping in 6 goals for good measure. He also featured in 3 Europa League Qualifiers, scoring twice in the 3-0 home win over Luxembourg side Progrés Niederkorn.

In 2016 he made the move to Belfield and signed for UCD. He played in all three fixtures against his new club Cabinteely last campaign, scoring once in the 4-1 win at home on the 8th of July.

Director of Football and First Team Manager Pat Devlin spoke of his excitement to have Waters join him at Cabo.
