Familiar faces re-sign with Youths

Wexford Youths have announced that Craig Wall and Shane Dunne have re-signed for the club ahead of their 2017 First Division campaign.

Both were part of Shane Keegan’s Wexford squad at the start of their maiden Premier Division campaign, although Wall left midway through the campaign for unspecified reasons.

However, midfielder Wall is back for a seventh season with the club who he won promotion to the top-flight with last year. The Kilkenny native made his debut with Youths back in 2011.

Dunne is another to have joined new manager Damien Locke in attempting to get the Slaneysiders back to the Premier Division at the first attempt.

The midfielder was a mainstay of the side during their last campaign having racked up 27 league appearances, scoring his only goal in a July loss to Galway United.

The pair bring the number of players to re-sign for Youths to five.
