Adam O'Connor re-signs with Shelbourne
In what has been busy few days for Shelbourne manager Owen Heary, he added to his squad for 2017 once again on Wednesday, this time by re-signing defender Adam O’Connor.
O’Connor, who first arrived at Shels aged 17 in 2012, has gone onto become an important part of the Reds’ back four in recent years.
Having first come on the Tolka Park first team scene in 2013, O’Connor will be looking forward to his fifth season involved with Shelbourne’s first team.
The 22-year-old attains strong leadership qualities and versatility makes him a valuable player for any team. O’Connor can play on the right hand-side of defence while also being fully capable at centre half.
O’Connor joins James Brown, Jack Tuite, Reece McEnteer, Dylan Grimes, Michael Murphy, Lorcan Shannon, Dylan Kavanagh, Dayle Rooney and Adam Evans in re-signing for the club in recent days.
Meanwhile, striker Chris Lyons has arrived from Bray Wanderers.
