Jason Byrne re-took the top spot on the goalscorer's charts thanks to his four-goal haul at Dalymount Park. The in-form striker has scored 8 of Bohemian's 13 goals in Phibsborough so far. The only other real mover in the list was Derry's Mark Farren, who rediscovered his touch with a "perfect" hat-trick against Drogheda United. He joins team-mates Ciaran Martyn and Thomas Stewart on four goals. Even at this early stage, it is hard to look beyond Byrne for who will finish on top.

There were a number of firsts at the weekend with Faz Kudozovic, Jay O'Shea, Mark Quigley and Dane Massey all registering their first league goals of the campaign. Kudozovic joins a group of 24 players who have now scored with their head.
Barry Molloy's exquisite pass for Mark Farren's injury time thunderbolt was the midfielder's fourth assist of the season, and he leads the way in this category, with Dessie Baker and Owen Morrison just behind with three apiece.

BAD BOYS

There have been 15 red cards in the Premier Division's 50 games so far.
Amazingly, only one of them has been thrust in the direction of a player on the home team. Declan Edwards' two bookings against Sligo Rovers makes him the member of a very exclusive club to date.
Jeff Kenna's job is looking more and more difficult as the days go by, but he's not being helped by his player's indiscipline. Three sendings-off, two of which occurred after the final whistle, cannot help matters, especially when both Jamie Harris and Dave Partridge were shown second yellows for dissent. Both players will miss this week's televised game with Shamrock Rovers.
Chris Turner has become the first player to be suspended due to accumulation of yellow cards. His fourth rules him out of this week's game with Galway United and poses more problems for Sean Connor who already has a long injury list and Harpal Singh's suspension to deal with.
The full list of players who have been sent for an early bath is as follows:
Danny Ventre (twice)
Simon Kelly (twice)
Clive Delaney
Steven Gray
Declan Edwards
Harpal Singh
Jamie Harris
Owen Morrison
Stephen Bradley
Jason Gavin
David Partridge
Conor Kenna
Daryl Robson
