Premier Division Statistics
The race for the Premier Division golden boot is well and truly underway and Scottish striker Gary Twigg added to his tally with a double at the weekend. His nearest rival is Bohemian's Jason Byrne, who bagged his 145th career LOI goal against former club Bray with a simple header. Thomas Stewart has faded slightly after an explosive start and his three-game drought has coincided with a poor run of form from the Candystripes.
GOALSCORERS
The six goals scored last weekend was the lowest of any round to date, bringing the average goals per game back down to 1.98.
Shamrock Rovers and St Pat's have been the most entertaining sides so far, with an average of 2.33 goals in their games.
Killian Brennan marked his recall to the Bohemians' line-up with his second free-kick of the season. So far, only Colin Healy has managed to similarly find the net.

APPEARANCES
21 players are currently left on the ever-present list, as Jason McGuinness, Shane Robinson, and Paul Keegan failed to complete 90 minutes for the first time this year.
Tadgh Purcell kept his remarkable run of substitute appearances going with a ninth consecutive introduction on Saturday night. Tadgh should be grateful though. Not many subs have racked up 120 minutes worth of appearances by this point in the season.
