21:50: FULL TIME !! Game over in Wexford and Wallace's boys have held on for their fourth win in five games.
21:47: Re: The Weather - Not the sunny south east by all accounts but no news on attendance yet.
21:45: Youths have made a number of changes as they look to hold on.....Rossiter for Kearney being the latest one on 87 minutes. Can they hold on for their fourth win of the season???
21:42: In a shameless plug, Mr Penrose would like to recommend Chan's in Bettystown, where the S.C.C.(see below) is meant to be unreal. I can smell it from here. Oh no, that's just the plate beside me.
21:41: Bulletin just in from Wexford......Harps pressing....Harkin shoots wide when should have scored........McDaid blazes good chance over. Youths could be yet on the end of another late Finn Harps goal.
21:36: Nothing to report yet from Wexford - Re 5forkeeps comment on Limerick and Wexford making a push - Both sides have been beaten by 3 of the top 4 sides. Wexford's win over U.C.D. was the only result of note for either of them. I can't see them getting higher than 5th to be honest.
21:31: Robbie Burns has got in touch regarding the two tiers on both Divisions and has some strong views on the participation of struggling Kildare County. "Kildare should not be playing senior league football. I saw them against Limerick and they were pathetic," Robbie says. In fairness they had a very short time to prepare, so they can only use the resources available, however limited they may be.
21:30:GOAL! 2-1 now to Wexford as Conor Gethins heads in Ruairi Harkin's cross to make it a tense last twenty minutes for the home crowd.
21:27:The First Division is definitely proving to be the place for goals so far this year, averaging 2.65 goals per game compared to 1.98 in the Premier. Defending may be poorer but the fans are certainly getting value for money goals-wise.
21:24: Gareth Penrose has phoned to inform me that he too is sampling the delights of Chinese cuisine tonight. I wonder will his be nicer than my Chilli Shredded Chicken. I doubt it.

21:08: Drama in the south-east as Conor Sinnott's penalty is saved by Ciaran Gallagher and the captain blazed the rebound over the bar. Can Harps capitalise on that let-off?
21:05:GOAL! Longford 0 - 3.... They maybe down to ten men but that won't stop Eamonn Zayed from adding to the scoreboard at Flancare Park. His sixth of the season.
21:01: John has commented on the game at Tallaght - "What's happening at Pats? Totally unacceptable." That is a question that will occupy many minds around Inchicore way. Away to Galway next week is a game that could define both club's seasons.
20:59: The Premier Division action is over, the Chinese is but a distant memory, but we will stay with the action right through until Youths-Harps game is also but a statistic.
20:50: It's over in Tallaght and Rovers continue their good run of form. RED CARD! - Longford may have been thrown a lifeline as Fingal's 2nd goalscorer, Robert Bayly, has been sent off just after the hour mark.
20:49: We're into the second half in Flancare Park but there's no sign of Longford Town making a comeback against Liam Buckley's men, who haven't conceded since Ciaran Kilduff's winner for UCD on March 13th.
20:48: 4 minutes injury time for Rovers to see out - they should do so comfortably.
20:47: Half time in the game between Wexford Youths and Finn Harps and the Northerners are getting back into the game after a dodge opening spell. The Youths will go fifth if they hold on.
20:43: Michael O'Neill's side in line for their first clean sheet at Tallaght, but need another goal to move ahead of Derry in the table.
20:41: Subs for Rovers - Tadgh Purcell and Padraig Amond on for Twigg and Sean O'Connor as the game enters the closing stages.
20:40: Michael Funston booked for Harps.....a tight game since the Mukendi clearance according to Conor Meagher in Wexford.

20:32:GOAL!! - Rovers may have sealed all 3 points now and it's Gary Twigg again. And it's Dessie Baker who combines with the Scot once more, holding off Jamie Harris before laying off for the prolific striker to score again.
20:27: First sub for Rovers - Shane Bradley on for the other Shane, Robinson. 69 minutes gone and Gary Twigg's 7th goal of the season still divides the sides.

19:16: 15 mins - Baker played free on the right, teasing cross, cleared by Gavin for first corner of game. O'Connor's delivery is poor though and St. Pat's clear.
