Dave Mulcahy signs for Cork City
Cork City have signed defender Dave Mulcahy from Bohemians.
The 38-year-old former St Patrick's Athletic player arrives as City boss John Caulfield looks to add depth ahead of their Europa League Third Qualifying Round tie with Belgian side KRC Genk.
Mulcahy, who was primarily a midfielder for much of his career, returns to Turners Cross for a third time, having spent short spells with the Rebel Army in 2004 and 2012.
The Kilkenny man began his career with the now defunct Kilkenny City in 1999 and spent three seasons at Buckley Park before moving to Waterford United in 2003.
He had two spells with the Blues either side of a stint with Pats before joining Cork City for the first time in January 2008.
He joined Bray Wanderers ahead of the following season before returning to Richmond Park to spend a further two seasons with the Saints before signing for Bohemians in 2012.
Mulcahy once again joined City ahead of the 2015 season but had his contract terminated by mutual consent due to work commitments.
