Tolka Park hosts Legends clash

Shelbourne play hosts to the encounter between the Liverpool Legends and Celtic Legends in Dublin on Saturday 25th April in Tolka Park.
Liverpool Legend John Aldridge will be part of the Reds side and he commented, “It will be great to return to Dublin in April. On our tour of Ireland last May, we beat United 4-0 at Tolka Park, which is always nice. We played Celtic over St. Patrick’s this year in Cork and they beat us in the dying minutes 1-0, so we want the win in Dublin
The Legends team will be made up of players such as McAteer, Aldridge, Wheelan, McManaman, McAvennie, Myallby and Collins. Celtic Legend Frank McAvennie commented, “Myself and the rest of the lads are looking forward to coming over to Dublin to play the Liverpool Legends. We have always had brilliant support in Ireland and it’s great to come over and see the fans. Hopefully Liverpool can give us a game this time.” He joked.
Tickets (€20) are available from Tolka Park between 10am and 1pm and between 2pm and 5pm daily and can be purchased directly from Ticketmaster.ie and all usual outlets.
