GOALSCORERS

Andrey Arshavin may have grabbed the headlines with four goals last night at Anfield, but he was just following in the footsteps of Waterford United's Graham Cummins, who leapt like a salmon to the top of the goalscorers' charts with a total of six goals following his quadruple on Saturday afternoon. The former defender is obviously enjoying his time on the south-east coast, and has linked up well with Willie John Kiely - the pair have 11 between them - to power his side within two points of top spot.

There have been 108 goals scored at an average of 2.57 per game.
Limerick's Paul Walsh and Finn Harps Conor Gethins have both successfully converted 3 penalty kicks. Saturday's injury-time leveller by Gethins was also the second equaliser he has scored in added time.
Damien Rushe is the only player to not have scored from the spot when Mervue's Ryan Griffin saved the Athlone man's attempt.
While they may only lie in sixth place, it is interesting to note that Athlone have yet to concede a goal away from home.
