Sligo Rovers -v- Bohemians

With Derry City dropping points in Bray on Friday night, Bohemians will be looking to stretch their lead at the top of the Premier Division on Saturday night at the Showgrounds.

Both sides come into the clash on the back of two-game unbeaten runs. Sligo have beaten both Derry and Bray in their last two fixtures and commenting on Sligo's recent run of form, Rovers winger Sean Doherty said that “I think we always knew we would turn it around. We have confidence in ourselves but last week’s wins are only the start of what we would want to be a good run.”

Sligo have no injury worries bar the long term casualties of Chris Butler, Stephen Parkhouse and Mauro Almeida, despite the latter’s recent appearance against Dundalk two weeks ago. Pat Fenlon will definitely be without the services of Neale Fenn while Glen Cronin is a doubt with his thigh strain.

Both sides will be confident of a win in tomorrow night's game, with Sean Doherty saying that “A win (in tomorrow night's game) would be great but we all know Bohs' are a good team, but we fear no one in the league and we just have to build on last week and put in the same hard work.”

Pat Fenlon is under no illusion of the tough challenge ahead by saying that “Sligo had a great win at the Brandywell last week. They had a slow enough start to the season but are beginning to put a good run together”.

Sligo Rovers come into the game as the obvious underdogs with the bookies at 10-3. Bohemian are 5-4 on while the draw is priced at 12-5.

Extratime.ie Prediction: This is a tough one to call, Sligo are improving while Bohs are Bohs, table toppers, strong squad and unbeaten in two. I think a score draw will be the outcome.
