Chindea departs Athlone

Marco Chindea announced via his twitter account on Tuesday night that he has departed Athlone Town.

 

The winger has scored four goals this league campaign including a hat trick against bottom side Cabinteely, but has left the Midland’s side during the mid-season break and is on the lookout for a new club.

 

Athlone Town, who currently undergoing a review of all club operations with the assistance of the FAI following their failure to fulfil their First Division fixture against Waterford United last Friday night, have yet to comment on the departure on one of their star players.
