Dalymount gets fired up for international football
Dalymount Park has hosted numerous matches over the years from the big international games of the 70’s and 80’s, with Don Givens in particular scoring a famous hat trick in 1974 against the Soviet Union right up to the present day where Bohemians ply their trade.
On Thursday night, June 9th, beginning at 7.30pm the Fire Services of Ireland will play against Firesport UK in a game to remember all deceased members of the force organised by Dublin Fire Brigade with the assistance of Dublin City Council.
The game will be free of charge and with no League of Ireland football happening for the next two weeks it could be a way to get your football fix before the country goes Euro mad for the next month.
