Saint Patrick's Athletic also suffered a surprise and dramatic defeat at Bray Wanderers, while Drogheda United threatened an upset as they scored their first goals of 2009. Elsewhere, Derry City went top of the Premier Division despite only drawing, while UCD and Shelbourne maintained their 100 percent records in the First Division, where Sporting Fingal made it three wins on the spin.
