Score Prediction Challenge - Week One
Having been fed with a healthy diet of information over the last four weeks, extratime.ie's stats computer,JIMMY(named after the inaugural winners of the League, St James' Gate) is now issuing a challenge to find the best score predictor in the country, or beyond.
JIMMY cares little for talented squads, manager's influence, suspensions, or injuries, instead focusing on the pure facts available for digestion. Every week, he will be offering one reader the opportunity to pit his/her wits against his predictions which are solely based on results achieved this season.
A grand prize will be awarded at the end of the season to whoever gets the most correct scorelines in a week.
All Premier Division and First Division results are required to be submitted. Midweek fixtures will not be included unless a full programme of 11 fixtures is taking place.
To be in with a chance to win, simply be the first to answer the question below and e-mail your answer to extratimestats@gmail.com.
St James' Gate were also the first Cup winners in 1922, but what was the Cup known as at the time?
