Paddy Kavanagh has been a regular for Bohemians since arriving from Derry City ahead of the 2014 season and this year was no different as he made twenty-eight league appearances for the club and scored three times in draws against Drogheda United, Longford and in the 5-3 loss to Galway United. He signs on for his third season and is only eighteen games away from reaching two hundred League of Ireland appearances.

Injury had unfortunately ruled Dan Byrne out for much of this season and half of the 2014 campaign although he came back to make two very brief substitute appearances towards the end of this year, in the wins over St Patrick’s Athletic and Sligo Rovers. Keith Long has obviously been encouraged by this and Dan signs on for what will be his fourth season at the club having signed from Killester United in August 2013.

Late into the night saw central defender Stephen Best confirm that he also would be playing at Dalymount next season. He’ll be hoping to follow up on his thirteen league appearances in the backline this year, with his performances earning the eighteen year-old the Young Player of the Year at the club.
