Finn Harps 1-0 Longford Town FULL TIME - Preview
Athlone Town 3-1 Kildare County FULL TIME - Preview

It's Saturday night and we are facing into two matches in the First Division and our extratime.ie reporters, Gareth Penrose & Alan Smith will be here for the evening giving you the latest updates from both.We love hearing for you, so remember, to join in with comments and feedback, you can email extratimelive@gmail.com. Our question of the night for discussion we'd like to hear back from you on, is: Who will win the First Division this season?

21.51: Full Time in the midlands and it's the home side who take all three points.

21.43: Colin Osbourne picks up another yellow for the Lilywhites.

21.41: Paddy Maradona, no sorry, Paddy Mahon is booked for trying to score with his hand at Lissywoolen.

21.38: GOAL! Athlone make it 3-1 at home to Kildare County and it's McGee who adds to their tally in the 81st minute.

21.34: FULL TIME at Finn Park and it has ended 1-0 to the home side.

21.29: Athlone's Thomas McGaulay is yellow carded at Lissywoolen.

21.26: SENDING OFF number two for Longford Town. This time a tangle between Funston and Liam Lynch see's the Town forward sent off and the Harps man seeing yellow.

21.23: GOAL! at Finn Park as Conor Gethins scores from the spot to put the home side into the lead after Coughlan was taken down. Strangely enough, the referee sends off the wrong player in Stephen Gough.

21.16: I'm going continental just for a bit and I'm going to say: Gooooooooaaaalllllllllllllllllachio! Athlone have taken the lead at home to Kildare County and it's Emeka Onwubiko who doubles his own personal tally.

21.10: Finally some action in Donegal as Gavin Cullen produces a superb save to stop Derek Glynn from close range in the 63rd minute.

21.06: Yellow card for Anthony Hayes at Lissywoolen as the second half resumes.

21.03: Michael Funston looks to have gone clean through on goal but instead of shooting himself he cut the ball back to Conor Gethins, who shot miles over the bar.

21.00: Marc Brolly replaces Ian Rossiter after 58 minutes in Ballybofey but the net has yet to bulge.

20.49: Second half kicks off in Finn Park and extratime.ie reporter, Chris McNulty, will hope for a much improved second period after a first half which certainly won't live in the memory of anybody in attendance at Ballybofey, while it's half time in Athlone.

20.45: GOAL!!!And we're level at Lissywoolen. Just on the verge of half-time it is Emeka Onwubiko who levels the tie after he was played in by Stephen Place.

20.43: GOAL!!! Just as Bar O'Sullivan says Athlone are on top, it's Kildare who open tonight's scoring thanks to a header from Paddy Mahon in the 44th minute.

20.42: "Athlone are on top with the better share of the possession. They're getting into the final third more than Kildare and have had a few half chances, but thats it so far as it's approaching half time" - our man Bar O'Sullivan reporting live from Athlone Town v Kildare County.

20.37: Ciaran Ruane has got in touch via extratimelive@gmail.com to tell us to "keep up the good work" and if you also want to make contact, make sure to send us a mail at the above address.

20.34: Half-time at Finn Park and quite like tonight's other game, there is a severe lack of goalmouth action.

20.32: Kildare's Alan Lynch is booked in the 31st minute for a late challenge. However, there is very little else to report on as it remains scoreless at Lissywoolen.

20.27: It remains scoreless at both of tonight's game. Almost half time at Finn Park, while there is 25 minutes played in Athlone.

20.25: Despite it being only week two of the new season, who do you fancy in both divisions? Galway United are top of the table but can they stay there? Cork City have had a poor start and face Derry City away next Friday, in what will be a tough game for Paul Doolins' side. Who do you think will go down in the top tier? Which teams have the best chance in being promoted from the First Division? Email us with your opinion's at extratimelive@gmail.com and you may just be lucky enough to be featured in our live update service.

20.17: A booking in Longford as centre back Jim Sheridan picks up a yellow for a late lunge on Mukendi with 29 minutes on the clock in Donegal.

20.13: In the space of 2 minutes Longford miss two half chances but on both ocassions Liam Lynch and Jason McCartney shoot wide.

20.11: After becoming utterly confused, Gareth Penrose has now disappeared to compose himself and take a few deep breaths. So instead you're going to have to put up with Alan Smith. Make sure to continue sending in your emails to extratimelive@gmail.com.

20:06: Kick-off in Flanc.... hold on, that's completely wrong. Athlone clearly don't play in Flancare. Thank you for the emails on that one.

20:05: Athlone Town are playing a 4-2-3-1 formation..

20:01: It's kick-off in Athlone!! Game on.

19:59: A Hakrin corner causes a goal mouth scramble but Longford manage to clear their lines. A dour affair so far.

19:52:Longford Town: Brendan Murphy, Stephen Gough, Jim Sheridan, Ray Kenny, Tom King, Gary Curran, Darragh Concannon, Carmine Russo, Liam Lynch, Derek Glynn, Jason McCartney. Subs: Owen Hoaro, Brian Murtagh, Mike Lee, Colin Nicholson, Stephen Brennan

Athlone Town game is 15 minutes away and there is just around 100 people in attendance.

19:41: Mark from Meath has contacted us via our email address. Hello Mark and here is how he sees the First Division playing out, do you agree?

"I think it will be a lot closer than many think, I feel that Fingal like everyone else have the best squad, but it will take time for them to settle and get going, Also Shelbourne have started very well with 2 tough games and come through them very well. I think Waterford will be in contention, they have players that know what is like in the First Division and know what to do. I feel one of them 3 will take the honours in the division."

19:40:Athlone Town: John McGuinness, Robbie Hamm, Thomas McGauley, Kevin Dunne, Des Hope, Brian Cleary, Emeka Onwubiko, Anthony Hayes, Stephen Place, Noel McGee, Kevin Williamson. Subs: Robert Egan, Cathal Joyce, Ian Finlay, Jamie Duffy, Aaron Shanahan
