League of Ireland Attendances - Gameweek 8 & 9

This article is never easy to write. Not due to a lack of ideas but due to the legwork required to bring you accurate information on attendances.
It should not be a battle to unearth this information. Many leagues provide it on their websites. The work should be analysing trends and commenting on it. The work should not be acquiring the raw materials for this article.
This is why, six days after the last ball was kicked for Gameweek 8, you are only getting to see our attempts to unearth attendance figures, of which four are estimated. Out of ten. Add Gameweek 9 into the mix and we have 16 games of which six are estimates.
Until we have a full set of actual figures, we won’t analyse the figures. We will just publish them. This is our Gameweek 8 and Gameweek 9 attendance breakdowns:
