Sligo Rovers' clash with Cork City in the Premier Division and Sporting Fingal's trip to Waterford United in the First Division are the highlights of Saturday night's action as the first series of games in the 2009 League of Ireland are completed.

Dugout debuts
Also of interest will be Alan Gough's first ever match in management as he leads Longford Town into battle with Monaghan United at Flancare Park. Thomas 'Cooper' Donnelly will also be entering the dugout for the first time when his Kildare County side welcome Finn Harps to Station Road, the Ballybofey club deciding to keep faith with Paul Hegarty despite suffering relegation last season.
