The first game kicks off in less than an hour when current champions, Bohemians, travel to newly-promoted Dundalk with a 7.35pm kick off.
There are also three First Division games tonight and our reporters are stationed at all of the grounds to bring you the latest.

19.44: Teams are out on the pitch at all the Premier Division games now, while there's an estimated 400 people at Mervue United's opening tie in the First Division at Terryland Park. Meanwhile, at Richmond Park, the Galway travelling support are continuing to abuse Jeff Kenna, with each of them brandishing
19.55: GOAL: First goal of the season is at the Brandywell and it was scored by Farren to put the home side into the lead
19.56: Big chance for Athlone when a corner was headed off the line by Rynal Browne, then from next cross Thomas McGauley was denied by good save from Griffin.
19.57: Daly hits the crossbar as Dundalk start the brighter at Oriel Park. George O'Callaghan is pulling the strings at present.
20.02: GOAL: Athlone take the lead against Mervue, thanks to Noel McGee in the 12th minute who scored from 10 yards out
20.05: Ollie Cahill almost gives Shamrock Rovers the lead at the Carlisle Grounds with a powerful drive from 25 yards. Chris O'Connor just managed to tip the ball over the crossbar for a corner, which was then cleared by the Seagulls.
20.07: GOAL: Galway United have taken the lead at Richmond Park thanks to a header by Derek O'Brien after James O'Shea swung in a free kick.
20.08: Noel McGee is brought down by Nicky Curran at Terryland Park and referee, Padraig Sutton awards Athlone a penalty. Damien Rushe shoots to the left side of the goal but Mervue keeper, Ryan Griffin pulls off a magnificent save to keep the score at 0-1.
20.12: Killian Brennan takes a free kick for Bohemians from about 20 yards but he fails to threaten Bennion in the Dundalk goal.
20.14: Anto Murphy has a great chance for Bohemians. His effort seemed a little rushed, though, playing the ball straight at Bennion.
20.16: Breen goes close for Galway, who at present, are well on top. Maybe Jeff Kenna, is regretting his decision already!
20.18: Chris Bennion produces a comfortable save from Mark Rossiter as the early kick-off remains scoreless with two minutes to go until the break.
20.22: Half-time at Oriel Park and it remains scoreless in a very even encounter. Meanwhile, Seamus Coneely is booked at Richmond Park for time wasting, despite there only being 35 minutes played.
20.23: Alan Breen, a Wexford Youths fan stuck at work is wondering how his side are doing but so far, the only report we have from Drumcondra is: "Absolutely nothing happening here at Tolka Park, except for not having an internet connection in the press box" -Gordon Hunt, reporting at Shelbourne v Wexford Youths. 20.28: GOAL: Deadlock broken at Tolka Park thanks to Patrick Madden. Ritchie Baker with cross and Madden headed the ball powerfully into the net after 25 minutes.

20.34: It remains scoreless at the break between UCD and Limerick at the Belfield bowl. While it's half time at the Brandywell and Inchicore. Mervue's first shot on goal comes with the final kick of the ball in the opening period, with David O'Dowd shooting straight at McGuinness from 18 yards.

20.45: GOAL: Equaliser at Tolka Park as Gavin Doyle puts the ball into the net in the 43rd minute.

20.53: Wexford fan, Alan Breen is disturbing his workmates after reading Wexford Youths equalised at Tolka Park. His e-mail to extratimelive@gmail.com reading: "Yessssssssssssss!!!!!!! Get in Gav...you legend....Come on the boys...This game is part of my lucky 63, got the Youths at 5/1 to win tonight....Disappointment has turned into a huge grin on my face. The whole work were looking at me when I shouted my head off when I seen the update...happy days."
20.54: GOAL: Galway double their advantage at Richmond Park to the despair of the Saints support. Vinny Faherty scoring the second goal after a cross from O'Brien in the 50th minute.
20.57: GOAL: Amazingly, Galway have scored again, this time Derek O'Brien scores in the 53rd minute with a curling right footed effort from the edge of the area. Certainly the shock of the night.
21.00: Just over20 minutes to go at Oriel Park and it remains scorelss. At present, Mark Rossiter is down with a head injury after clearing an incoming George O'Callaghan free kick
21.01: Alan Brett, a Galway fan, exiled in London is dancing around his office. "3-0 up - what a start for Foster and Galway. I stayed late tonight so I could follow the game online, boy has it been worth it so far!" says the jubilant Galwegian who emailed in at extratimelive@gmail.com
21.04: GOAL: Joseph Ndo gives Bohs' the lead with 18 minutes to go. The ball was played in from the right and Ndo produced an excellent header from 12 yards out.
21.05: Gordon Hunt doesn't just report on the game, he also gives us info on the players physique. "Ritchie Baker is looking very slim" says the witty Mr Hunt.
21.07: GOAL: UCD have broken the deadlock at Belfield, thanks to Ciaran Kilduff in the 57th minute.
21.09: Simon Kelly saves Chris Bennion's blushes at Oriel after Ndo lobbed the ball over the Dundalk keeper. Kelly hooking the ball away off the line as it looked like the champions were going to double their lead.

21.12: St. Pat's are finally beginning to mount some pressure at Inchicore, but it looks like too little too late. Galway are standing firm.
21.13: Shamrock Rovers appear to be the better of the two sides at the Carlisle Grounds. Chris O'Connor has just produced a decent save to halt Shane Robinson who volleyed from edge of the area with 64 on the clock. Unfortunately, this reporter is waiting on Rovers for a treble, Derry and UCD are making up the other two and both lead 1-0.

21.28: Wexford Youths are playin on the counter attack but Shels have moved to a 4-3-3 formation in the late kick-off.
21.30: GOAL: Shels' take the lead thanks to Anto Flood at Tolka Park in the late kick off. There is 20 mintues remaining, can Wexford rally again?
21.31: Athlone are looking comfortable at Terryland Park, while the it remains scoreless at Bray with four minutes remaining.

"Just had to happen....the strength in depth in the Shels squad says it all when they can bring on one of the top goalscorers in this division over the last 2 seasons to score what is possibly a winner.
