The game, which will take place at Oriel Park in Dundalk, is the first of 13 League and Cup games which will be shown live on the channel during the 2009 season.

RTE has also confirmed that their hour-long highlights show, MNS (Monday Night Soccer), will also make a return to RTE television for the 2009 season. Hosted by Con Murphy, MNS will be broadcast on RTE Two at 8pm each Monday throughout the season, beginning on March 9th.
