Campbell gears up for NCAA final
Republic of Ireland Senior Women's International Megan Campbell will play in this Sunday's NCAA Championship game in the United States. Campbell, who moved to the United States two years ago, left Raheny United to pursue a scholarship at Florida State University.
Since heading Stateside, Megan has been a key asset to the Florida State team and has taken America by storm. Megan has brought plenty of media attention and earned a lot of fans in the States with her spectacular throw ins. It will be Megan's second NCAA final in a row and the University's third in history at competing for the famous Championship ring.
Florida State were unfortunately beaten last year in extra time by UCLA, but this year hope to have their name etched into the most prized trophy in American women's soccer on Sunday when they take on close rivals Virginia.
You can watch the game live on ESPNU at 6:00pm (Irish time) or follow live updates on the university's official Twitter page @fsu_soccer. Everyone here from ExtraTime.ie would like to wish both Megan and all of the Florida State team the best of luck ahead of the big game. Go Noles!
