Champions League Preview: Bristol Academy -v- Raheny United

Irish Champions Raheny United are set to play the second leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 32 campaign in Bristol this evening October 16th.
Raheny face a tough uphill battle as Bristol already hold a four goal advantage on aggregate. Bristol took the bragging rights from Richmond Park in Dublin last week. Thanks to a brace by Natasha Harding, a penalty by Nicola Watts and a goal by Natalia Pablos.
In the past weekend, Bristol played host to Liverpool Ladies FC in the final game of the FAWSL season. Liverpool came into the game sitting in 3rd position within the league table but it was tight race to the finish line between themselves Chelsea FC and Birmingham FC.
Bristol were defeated three nil on the day and Liverpool secured their second consecutive FAWSL title tied on points with Chelsea FC but seen their two goal advantage as the title decider.
Raheny on the other hand had last weekend's fixture versus Cork City Women's FC in the Continental Tyres Women's National League postponed in order to prepare for the second leg of the UEFA Champions League.
