St Pat's take O'Connor on trial

Gareth O'Connor will this week attempt to win a contract with St Patrick's Athletic after the former Luton Town midfielder failed to secure a deal with Bohemians.
St Pat's boss Jeff Kenna has given the 29-year-old Dubliner a week long trial at Richmond Park as he seeks to add reinforcements for the new season.
O'Connor recently trained with Bohs at their training camp in Spain in a bid to win a deal, but despite impressing, Gypsies manager Pat Fenlon was unable to offer a contract due to financial constraints. O'Connor has also previously played for Bohemians, Shamrock Rovers and Burnley.
