Friendly changes at Cork

Cork City confirmed this afternoon that the scheduled friendly against Cobh Ramblers this Saturday will not go ahead. A reason has not been given, however it is believed that it’s Cobh and not Cork who are to blame for the cancellation.

Instead, Paul Doolin’s team will take on local side Blarney United on Monday night at O’Shea Park with a 7.30pm kick off.

The club have also said that contrary to popular belief, the friendly with Galway United on Wednesday will still go ahead as scheduled.
