Three players depart Tolka Park

Stephen Sheerin, Stephen McDonnell and Michael Duffy have all left Shelbourne by mutual consent.

Stephen Sheerin was a part of Shelbourne’s Under 19 squad for the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons before linking up with the senior squad for the 2013 and 2014 seasons. He made five appearances for the club and also appeared in the EA Cup and Leinster Senior Cup.

Michael Duffy joined the Dublin side at the start of the season from Mervue United. The striker made three substitute appearances in the league and also featured in the EA Cup and Leinster Senior Cup.

Stephen McDonnell is another player that signed for the club for this season. The midfielder featured twelve times in the league this season for Shels, scoring once in a 3-3 draw against Waterford United.

Manager Johnny McDonnell and the Board of Management want to thank all three for their commitment during their time with the club and wish them every success in the future.
