Mulcahy and Brennan sign for Bray
Bray Wanderers announced today the signings of midfielder Dave Mulcahy and defender Stephen Brennan.
Mulcahy, a Kilkenny native, is a former player with Kilkenny City,Waterford Utd. and Cork City.
Brennan is a versatile and experienced defender who was released by St. Patricks Athletic at the end of the 2008 season. A native of Shankill Dublin, he started his career with St Joseph's Boys before moving cross channel to Newcastle Utd.
Speaking after the signings manager Eddie Gormley said, "I am delighted to have secured the signatures of two players with the experience they have, they have a wealth of experience between them and have been top players in the League of Ireland over the last few seasons".
He added "Dave will give us an extra steel in midfield while Steven can run matches as he is such a good passer of the ball,and both will have a big influence on the young players in the squad as both are good with young players".
Bray Wanderers kick off their preseason campaign against Longford Town in Rathnew on the 10th February.
