Derry take on Letterkenny tonight
Derry City have announced that they will take on Letterkenny Rovers this evening (Friday) at the Aura Sports Arena in Letterkenny, kick-off 8pm.
Derry were due to face Shelbourne at the Brandywell tonight but the Reds were unable to travel from Dublin due to the adverse weather conditions, which also led to the cancellation of their friendly against Letterkenny, which was scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.
Instead, Derry will make the short trip west to Donegal tonight. They will, however, be without defender Clive Delaney and midfielder Kevin Deery, who both picked up knocks on the Candystripes' recent trip to Spain, where they defeated Danish outfit Esbjerg last Tuesday. New signing, winger Liam Kearney, though, should be in line for his debut on home soil.
